Saturday Afternoon....Nina and I had a Blast enjoying the thousands of hours of work the owners put into these beautiful machines. We met a few of the owners, all nice folks who love to explain what they did to their boats. Enjoy!
These next four shots....This is the exact model boat that appeared in the movie "Some Like It Hot" starring Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis. Movie and boat new in 1959. Remember that great old movie? The proud owner and restoration guru was happy to spend time with us explaining what went into this boat on the restoration, including about 2500 hours on the varnish/polish work.
I'm legal....That's a Diet soft drink. ;-)
Very cool "folding sailboat."
We don't know much about these boats....But that sure looks like a "Flat-Head" engine to me....Had a '51 Ford with a "Flat-Head" V-8....
Ducks & Fish having a good time too....
Nina and I have lots of fun at these type shows....
