Some guys may be curious about where our Belarus women members come from. Most of them live in Vitebsk, which is a little town located in the north-east of Belarus. A simple peaceful town where most of the people just walk or use public transportation to get to places instead of driving. The walks not only provide good exercise, the scenic views makes them most enjoyable. I love walking on the old brick streets lined with old buildings, the old and new orthodox churches, and of course enjoying everything with my beautiful lady. To a visitor it would seem as if they went back in time as it is just so different from any city in the US. The country’s relaxed atmosphere just makes you appreciates life that much more.
The Slavic Bazaar is an event a first time visitor needs to experience. Its a week long summer event, when most of the inhabitants of Vitebsk show off their arts crafts, have a ton of fun partying, and going to the concerts. Many famous singers from Russia and nearby countries come to the event to sing, the crowds are immense, and so is the fun. If you visit Vitebsk during summer, you will have a great time.
